THE 1776–1976 KENNEDY SILVER PROOF
This coin is forged from a Pristine 1776–1976 Kennedy Silver Proof, sourced directly from original government packaging. While billions of Bicentennial halves were struck in base metal, this San Francisco Mint specimen was struck in 40% fine silver specifically for the nation's 200th-anniversary celebration.
The exterior band features the iconic dual-date 1776–1976, while the reverse captures the historic architecture of Independence Hall in Philadelphia—the very site where the Declaration of Independence was signed. It is a wearable tribute to the birthplace of American freedom.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS & CRAFTSMANSHIP
The Sovereign Mint treats every Kennedy Proof with the same rigorous engineering as our larger dollar rings to ensure a luxury finish:
-
Pristine Preparation: Each coin is hand-removed from its protective wrapper to ensure a surface untouched by the public. We execute a precision center-punch to begin the transformation.
-
Thermal Cycling: The silver undergoes multiple stages of annealing and quenching. This meticulous heating and cooling process keeps the silver supple, preventing the "stress-shatter" common in amateur coin rings.
-
Artisan Folding: Using specialized reduction dies, the coin is gradually folded. This preserves the sharp, "frosted" details of Independence Hall and the high-relief lettering.
-
Sizing & Integrity: This half-dollar specimen is engineered to be sized up to a Size 12 while maintaining a perfectly balanced band width and crisp imagery.
-
The Sovereign Finish: Each ring is sanded through graduating grits and hand-buffed with 80,000-grit diamond paste on a jeweler’s lathe, resulting in a liquid-mirror luster.
-
Ultrasonic Bath: A final deep-clean removes all industrial residues, leaving only the radiant glow of historical silver.
