The Vermont 1791 Edition
Forged from archival .900 fine silver, this piece is a wearable chronicle of the Green Mountain State. It captures the rugged silhouette of Camels Hump and the quiet tradition of the maple harvest, elevated from humble currency to a masterwork of artisanal jewelry.
This ring is the result of an exhaustive, multi-day transformation where nothing was spared—neither time nor resource. The process begins with eight stages of thermal annealing to temper the silver. To ensure the original minting remains unblemished, we utilize S7 high-polish dies and generous applications of teflon-based protectants during all high-pressure exposures. This specialized barrier preserves every architectural detail of the coin while the opposing surface is precision-planed on float glass for an absolute, mirror-flat finish.
Unlike common artisanal methods, we never use liver of sulfur or artificial patinas. We believe chemical aging obscures the inherent brilliance of the silver. Instead, we invest hours into a progressive hand-spun polish, culminating in an 80,000-grit diamond treatment. The result is a high-contrast masterpiece with a flawless, luminous finish and a "zero-tolerance" fit—a true diamond in the rough, polished to perfection.
